Wandering OpenMandriva, part 4: France!

A little late, but the November issue of the French Linux Magazine “Linux Identity Kit” included a DVD with OpenMandriva Lx and a 24 pages guide. We proudly read that OpenMandriva has a “seductive desktop environment”. Thank you! 🙂 linux_identity_16 unnamed linux_identity_17

Merci! 🙂

S hrdostí čteme, že OpenMandriva má “líbivé uživatelské prostředí”. Děkujeme! 🙂 linux_identity_16 unnamed linux_identity_17

Hello, I would like to announce that I’m going to stop participating in the Spanish language translations of the official blog notes.
And following a line I have proposed changes that will be beneficial to start building a solid and growing user base.
I think that will be beneficial to OpenMandriva remove language support translations of articles published in the Official Blog, and the notes are only published in English,
This means leaving only an official website, forum and blog entirely in English language
If OpenMandriva manages to create separate communities (no English language) will these communities who are responsible through their websites, forums, personal blog or who have the task of translating the notes they deem relevant to their community sites (Example MIB)

Also consider important the elimination of wiki OpenMandriva whose information must be integrated into a new and remodeled official website OpenMandriva, a new official site, which will also have to integrate all the information needed to receive the new user openMandriva, including manual “URPM” among other things.

Greetings! It has been a pleasure to share with you, I’ll be available in the forum with Spanish language support for users of OpenMandriva

    1. Hi Quiroga,
thank you for your contribution and good luck with your Spanish forum.
We try to maintain a usable documentation for as much people as possible but this is a fact: we lack of man power. This is the reason why the English part is the most comprehensive.
However, Raphaël already started to build a site that will gather all the “official” documentation.
